The role is centered on leading a team of system administrators, support staff, and implementation members while overseeing the end‑to‑end configuration, optimization, and maintenance of the Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system across all functional modules. It involves managing system setups, data migrations, security protocols, training programs, and cross‑functional collaborations to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Coach, direct, and supervise system administrators, support staff, and implementation teams.
- Oversee configuration and optimization of Deltek Vantagepoint across Accounting, CRM, Project Management, Resource Management, and Payments modules.
- Manage system setup tasks such as user accounts, role‑based security, fiscal year, multi‑currency, and organizational structure.
- Execute data migration, integration, and system conversions while ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for end‑users in collaboration with the Training and Development Department.
- Establish and maintain security protocols, including role‑based access, MFA, password policies, and audit monitoring.
- Coordinate with IT, Finance, HR, and Project Management to define ERP requirements, implement enhancements, and integrate with other applications.
- Monitor system performance, conduct readiness assessments, manage updates/upgrades, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Act as primary liaison with Deltek support and external consultants.
- Create custom reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Deltek Dela AI capabilities to provide real‑time insights.
- Manage change control processes, test new features, and implement improvements to increase automation and reduce costs.
- Oversee project management and resource planning functionality, ensuring proper configuration of scheduling, budgeting, time tracking, and billing workflows.
- Identify utilization gaps, propose optimization strategies, and drive ROI improvements.
- Handle employee relations activities in partnership with Human Resources.
- Leverage AI and digital technology, such as Deltek Dela, to enhance job performance.
