  • The Tower Foreman will need to be able to lead an experienced tower technician crew and train new technicians while maintaining a safe, productive job site.
  • Isolate basic hardware, software, and air interface malfunctions utilizing various test equipment (Sweeps, PIM, Fiber, Microwave, etc.) on multiple products and technologies
  • Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance (including out of season equipment), repairing, and occasionally installing various cell tower types
  • Lifting heavy objects and stretching above your head
  • Working with a crew and responding to service calls promptly
  • Analyze/interpret site data and calculate figures
  • Operate as a Tower Foreman in the installation, maintenance, and de-installation of all aspects of wireless cell site foundations, including grounding conduits, electrical installations, site de-installation of antennas, coax, and BTS cabinets (base transceiver station)
  • Maintain proper installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques
  • Perform lead responsibilities and effectively interface with all levels of management, staff, and customer requirements
  • Complete assigned tasks within project scope accurately and efficiently

  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings (CD’s) and Plumbing diagrams (RFDS)
  • Ability to travel in the market area for multiple days with Per Diem, depending on the project. ** This position will cover the state of New Mexico, in addition to region travel, as needed.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to work at heights 90’ to 500+’; maintain efficient weatherproofing, grounding, and rigging techniques
  • Climbing structures and or operating lifts for prolonged periods.
  • Climbing Safety & Rescue Certification (assistance may be provided for renewals)
  • Working knowledge of cell site service monitors, RF test equipment, Fiber, and PIM equipment
  • Previous Tower Tech III or Tower Foreman experience is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of relevant electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
  • Proven construction (civil and RF) skills, understanding scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, and deliverable management
  • High level of organization and scheduling abilities
  • This position will cover the state of New Mexico, in addition to region travel, as needed.
