Experienced Occupational Safety & Health Instructor responsible for designing and delivering safety and health courses to a diverse range of clients in the Puget Sound and western Washington region.
Develop and deliver engaging and interactive virtual learning experiences.
Design, deliver and evaluate instructor-led safety and health courses.
Offer constructive feedback to participants to enhance their learning experience.
Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to multi-location environment.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and team members to develop impactful training materials for clients and Terracon employees.
Establish own schedule for teaching preparation and classroom audio-visual content development.
Teach recurring courses both in-person and virtually, with a focus on interactive and effective participant learning.
Maintain, load/unload, handle, set-up, and take down equipment and supplies for simulation exercises and classes.
Assess learning needs, identify performance gaps, and identify potential interventions to achieve performance objectives.
Facilitate effective training using diverse interactive formats: presentations, group discussion, e-learning, hands-on simulation exercises, and video.
Create and update accurate and dynamic course content including presentations, written exercises, hands-on simulations, exams, and handouts.
Ensure all training activities meet safety and quality standards. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
