The role is responsible for ensuring supplier training and actions are implemented to achieve defect‑free product supply and overall supplier performance improvement.
Key duties include managing PPAP approvals, resolving technical and system issues, analyzing supplier problems with statistical tools, driving corrective actions, and coordinating between suppliers and internal functions to improve closure times and accuracy.
The position also monitors supplier performance, leads process transitions with accurate documentation, acts as a single point of contact for multiple sites, and promotes a continuous‑improvement culture across teams and suppliers.
Required knowledge includes supplier change management, SPC, Gauge R&R, and manufacturing processes such as electrical/electronic components, molding, machining, casting, forging, and stamping. Candidates should hold a BE in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering and have 4–8 years of experience in supplier development, quality, manufacturing, or process engineering, with exposure to global customers and suppliers.
