The role involves leading all aspects of cost management—from feasibility estimates and cost planning to procurement, tender documentation, value engineering, risk management, dispute resolution and final account agreement. You will uphold the highest professional standards, reinforce AECOM’s reputation, drive technical excellence through performance management, and cultivate strong client relationships.
You will mentor junior staff on technically complex projects, identify marketing opportunities and work with Business Development to generate new business, and contribute to a collaborative internal team environment.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying, chartered status with RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or equivalent, and has proven large‑scale infrastructure cost management experience, strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts and the ability to influence key stakeholder relationships.
