Maintain all equipment in good and safe working condition and report any findings to lead hand
Provide HDD drill head location services for the HDD Operator around and/or on utilities for fiber installation projects
Install conduit, vaults, and cable work when not locating
Operate HDD Locator equipment in accordance with company and industry standards
Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervisor

Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures
This position will require travel throughout the state of Washington - per diem and travel accommodations will be provided
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Two years of experience locating for a directional drill or combination of work experience and/or technical training in an industry-related trade certification or education program
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet) and perform work on uneven surfaces
Candidates must possess and maintain a clean driving record and a valid driver's license; those holding a valid CDL are eligible for additional pay in recognition of the enhanced skills and responsibilities associated with the license
Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements
Must be able to track and communicate daily production and materials
