As a Construction Quantity Surveyor you will be involved in cost and contract management for the project, supporting and engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Your role will add value by improving organisational efficiency, working across functional areas and resolving issues as they arise.
The apprenticeship leads to a Level 6 Quantity Surveying (Construction) BSc (Hons) over four years, followed by a six‑month End Point Assessment that aligns with the chartered routes of CICES and RICS. Learning is delivered remotely with one day per week online and two one‑week university blocks at Northumbria University each year.
You will be based at the Suffolk offices in Leiston or the Orwell logistic park in Ipswich, with occasional travel to other locations to support different business units and expand your nuclear industry knowledge.
Eligibility requires five GCSEs (A*‑C/9‑4) including English, Maths and a Science subject, plus 112 UCAS tariff points from Level 3 qualifications. A genuine interest in contract management, nuclear energy, sustainability, and personal attributes such as detail‑orientation, flexibility, strategic thinking and strong interpersonal skills are also essential.
