During the term, the intern will support the creation of communication materials and documents for QuadReal’s intranet and other internal tools, provide content and creative assistance for virtual and in‑person events (including photography and video), contribute innovative ideas to boost employee engagement, and deliver administrative support to the Communications team while performing other related duties as assigned.
Based in Toronto, the Co‑op/Intern, Communications will report to the Director of Employee Communications and Engagement and will assist with internal communications and employee‑engagement initiatives. The role seeks a candidate with strong organisational and time‑management abilities who can take initiative, build connections and steward relationships.
The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a relevant academic program, possesses strong quantitative and analytical skills, and is detail‑oriented when handling data sets. Excellent written communication and presentation abilities are required, along with advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; graphic‑design or video‑editing skills are a plus. Prior experience in charitable, social‑enterprise, ESG/CSR, community‑development or impact sectors is considered an asset.

Eligible candidates must be enrolled in a post‑secondary program and returning to school after the work term, or be in a mandatory co‑op program required for graduation. The hourly rate for this newly created role is $22‑$25, with final compensation based on skill, experience, education, market factors and internal equity.
