Description
Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to build procurement capability within the team utilising and improving capability matrix.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and ethical standards.
Promote a collaborative and high-performance culture within the procurement function.
Oversee all procurement operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality sourcing of goods and services.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of procurement professionals, setting clear goals and performance expectations.
Supplier Relationship Management Establish and foster strategic relationships with key suppliers and business partners.
Develop and maintain effective procurement processes and controls to drive efficiency and compliance. Champion continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes, systems, and supplier management.
Monitor supplier performance, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Manage procurement budgets, deliver cost savings, and enhance value for money.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and service level agreements to secure optimal value for the organisation.
Work closely with legal, commercial, finance, and compliance to manage contractual and regulatory risks.
