The role is a Manager, Accounting (Statutory Audit) within the Statutory Reporting Center of Excellence – Global Finance Services, preferably based in Bangalore Whitefield. The incumbent will ensure high‑integrity financial reporting in line with local accounting standards and internal controls across multiple jurisdictions.
Primary duties include finalising statutory audits for various legal entities, coordinating with internal functional teams and external auditors, and meeting audit milestones. The manager will address audit escalations, decide on complex accounting treatments, and act as a trusted advisor to business operations on statutory reporting changes.
The position also requires presenting clear analyses of annual results and audit observations to the Board, supervising a team, assigning and reviewing work, and providing technical guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Finalise statutory audits for multiple legal entities in line with local regulations.
- Coordinate audit milestones with internal teams and external auditors.
- Resolve audit escalations and provide technical support for audit completion.
- Determine complex accounting treatments, materiality, estimates and judgments.
- Advise business units on statutory reporting changes and compliance impacts.
- Present audit findings and annual financial results to the Board.
- Supervise, assign, and review work of the audit team; conduct performance evaluations.
- Provide technical guidance on highly complex accounting issues to accountants and management.

Candidates must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of statutory audit experience, knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS or Asian FRS, and proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems. Big 4 experience, basic tax/secretarial/compliance knowledge, and strong communication skills are essential; the role follows a five‑day office schedule.
Preferred competencies include analytical thinking, effective communication, sound judgment and decision‑making, and people‑management skills with high emotional intelligence. Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving ability and the capacity to maintain performance under demanding business needs are valued.
