Associate Director

Description

The Associate Director – Operations Lead will provide strategic leadership and oversight for facility management operations across a portfolio of sites. Based at the Head Office, the role focuses on centralized operations management, process standardization, vendor governance, financial planning, and performance monitoring, ensuring operational excellence, cost optimization, and alignment with client and organizational objectives. The role acts as a key link between corporate leadership, site operations, and clients, driving consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the organization.

• Develop and continuously improve centralized operational policies, SOPs, and best practices across all sites.
• Oversee vendor and contract management to ensure cost optimization, compliance, and service delivery standards.
• Monitor and analyze operational KPIs, SLAs, and service quality, leading process optimization initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and cost control for facility operations, including CAPEX planning.
• Deploy centralized technology solutions to enhance operational visibility and control.
• Provide guidance and support to site operations teams on complex issues, escalations, and policy implementation.
• Prepare and present annual operational plans, business plans, and performance reports to senior leadership.
• Lead talent management for operations teams, covering recruitment, performance evaluation, training, and succession planning.
• Ensure regulatory, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across all facilities.
• Coordinate between head office, site teams, clients, and vendors to maintain consistent service delivery.

• Knowledge of regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance in facility management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• 10–12 years of facility management operations experience, with at least 5 years in senior/portfolio‑level head‑office or centralized operations role.
• Experience in multi‑site operations, process standardization, vendor management, and financial oversight.
• Preferred experience with critical systems, property operations, and strategic operational planning.
• Desirable certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or related technical/business certifications.
• Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
