

IKO North America manufactures roofing, insulation, and waterproofing products.
The role is Maintenance Technician, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The technician is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring machinery and mechanical equipment operate correctly.
The technician will learn how products are made and the steps involved, become familiar with site‑specific equipment, and maintain smooth operation of machinery. Responsibilities include troubleshooting industrial equipment with precise measuring tools, dismantling and reassembling equipment using hand and power tools, inspecting wear on power‑transmission components, utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and keeping the work area safe and clean in line with company procedures.
The position requires 24‑hour call‑out availability, shift and weekend work, and the ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs and work at heights. Candidates must have at least three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) safety practices, and preferably millwright, welding and machining skills. Proficiency with hand tools, the ability to read technical manuals, and experience with computer‑based maintenance software are also required, and employees must supply their own appropriate hand tools.
