Coordinate closely with plant teams to align production, load timing, and material availability

Use Command / Dispatch software to manage orders, allocate trucks, and monitor real-time delivery activity

Monitor driver hours-of-service and availability to maintain compliance and prevent violations
Verify accuracy of batch tickets, delivery logs, and driver instructions
Ensure drivers follow DOT, company, and site-specific safety procedures at all times
Proactively communicate with customers about potential delays, plant changes, or delivery constraints
Support next-day production planning by reviewing upcoming orders and communicating projected loads to plants
Adjust same-day schedules to account for order changes, delays, equipment issues, and weather impacts
Enter and update orders in Command / Dispatch, confirming mix designs, quantities, time windows, and site access details
Schedule and dispatch mixer trucks to job sites, optimizing routes, loads, and plant utilization
Track and document daily metrics such as truck utilization, return-to-plant exceptions, washout times, and delays

High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve issues quickly
Experience in ready-mix, construction, transportation, or logistics is considered an asset; prior dispatch or fleet management experience is strongly preferred
Solid knowledge of local geography and construction jobsite logistics
Proficiency with Command / Dispatch or similar system is considered an asset
Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop productive working relationships across all levels, internally and externally
Ability to work early mornings, occasional Saturdays, and overtime as needed
Strong multitasking and decision-making skills with experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and dispatching software
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
