Engineering Trade Manager - Fire Protection

Hilti North America provides high-quality tools, technology, and services for construction professionals.
Lead and implement Fire Protection efforts by reaching target customers, driving specification-to-sale conversion, and utilizing Hilti marketing processes.
Build and strengthen a trade community via newsletters, webinars, and trainings
Design, develop, and carry out technical marketing initiatives and campaigns that support the total business strategy and stated objectives
Establish and develop technical marketing objectives and goals for assigned industry segment to improve specification strength and specification coverage
Partner with Product Management and Engineering through the new product/ software development and product care global process
Partner with global counterparts to align on common roadmap and to prepare deliverables
Prepare presentations for both internal and external customers
Prepare and present analytical reports while organizing and conducting research activities
Evaluate the customer’s needs and expectations and match product, service, and software solutions to create differentiation
Responsible for the selection, organization, and participation in key associations, boards, and trade shows related to the given segment including steering mechanisms to evaluate ROI for participation
Responsible for coaching and directing technical field management and team members in developing, coordinating, and implementing market, technical sales, brand, and market reach strategies for the segment
Analyze and interpret marketing trends concerning technical products or services
