Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
Work hand in hand with the local and companywide marketing team, engineers, various departments, and subconsultants to find and track potential project leads, assess prospective clients’ needs, and evaluate the competitive environment.
Support the writing and production of qualifications-based proposals describing technically complex concepts in a way that non-technical readers can understand. Each proposal is custom written, working from various InDesign templates. The response could be a single page or 50 pages. It could be a response in SF330 format or an architect’s request for qualifications. Every situation is unique.
Maintain up to date data in various locations including Coffman’s CRM, marketing database, and more.
Join and engage with appropriate architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) industry organizations, including Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).
Multi-discipline engineering services plus corrosion control, commissioning and project/construction management

Able to work independently, as a team member, and as a team leader.
Basic understanding of Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Qualification (RFQ) is a strong preference.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and desktop publishing software preferred. Working knowledge of marketing databases and proposal resources files.
Strong organizational ability, detail oriented, high degree of accuracy.
Must be a self-starter who is able to see the big picture and connect the vision of the company with his/her job, be persistent, and follow through in a consistent manner.
Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
Knowledge of how to interpret scopes of work, project requirements, and evaluation criteria is a strong preference.
Basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and procedures and basic marketing principles.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
B.S. degree in related field preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat, working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

3 to 7 years of professional A/E/C marketing experience preferred.
