Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS); comfortable working with large site datasets (DEM/LiDAR, surfaces, survey, environmental constraints).
Working knowledge of grading, drainage, erosion control, access road design, and tracker-driven layout constraints for utility-scale PV.
Exposure to construction means/methods, field commissioning, and value-engineering for cost and schedule optimization.
Experience with hydrology/stormwater tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, Civil Storm) and layout production tools (PVcase).
Familiarity with U.S. codes/standards and permitting practices (e.g., OSHA/EPA guidance; knowledge of ASTM/NEC interfaces during civil– electrical coordination).
A Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Civil Engineering with 2-4 years or a Master of Technology (M. Tech) in Civil or related specialization with 1-3 years of relevant experience in large-scale solar, renewable, or land-development projects
Ability to run iterative design optimizations and communicate conclusions via well-organized drawings and design summaries.
