Finance Timekeeper

Tasks

-Play an active part in creating interactive dashboards and supporting the Finance team in real-time reporting -Collaborate closely with supervisors and team members to resolve any data inconsistencies -Support internal and external audits with accurate and timely documentation -Ensure timesheet entries are accurate, complete and compliant with project protocols -Maintain and manage timekeeping records in the designated construction management system, ensuring alignment with HR databases -Liaise with site supervisors, HR and payroll teams to enable smooth payroll processing -Generate regular reports on timesheet status and escalate delays or anomalies to senior management -Oversee the prompt submission and validation of daily and weekly timesheets for all project staff -Reconcile hours worked with approved rosters, overtime logs and leave records -Assist in developing and refining timekeeping procedures, and onboard and train site teams on time entry protocols -Provide proactive support to internal and external stakeholders, resolving queries as required -Contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and key performance indicator reporting -Maintain auditable records to meet project requirements and industry standards

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to follow-up and problem-solving -Good knowledge of the construction industry and the challenges facing a major project like Sizewell C -Excellent attention to detail and an ability to manage high volumes of data accurately -Previous experience in timekeeping or site administration within the construction industry -Understanding of working hours regulations, site access controls, and payroll processes -Strong familiarity with construction timekeeping systems such as Timesheet Portal, Causeway, COINS or SAP
