The Lobby Ambassador role merges hospitality expertise with workplace support to deliver exceptional client and guest experiences from pre‑arrival through departure. This client‑facing position ensures a welcoming environment for all visitors, employees, and callers.
Daily duties involve engaging with guests, assisting with arrivals, departures, and office orientations, and maintaining a visible, helpful presence throughout the workplace. The Ambassador also acts as a resident expert on local cuisine, hotels, attractions, and events to enhance visitor experiences.
Collaboration with internal facilities management teams is essential to coordinate hospitality‑focused service delivery across departments, while serving as the central point of contact for campus information, wayfinding, and activity coordination.
Physical demands include regular walking throughout the facility, standing for extended periods during guest interactions, and occasional lifting of items related to mail services and meeting support, all within a professional office environment with fast‑paced, shifting priorities.
Required qualifications are a minimum of 2‑3 years of customer service or hospitality experience, excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize accurately, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred qualifications include experience in corporate hospitality or workplace services, knowledge of local attractions and dining options, familiarity with facilities management operations, mail and administrative support experience, event coordination background, additional language skills, and experience with workplace technology platforms.
The position is based on‑site in Raleigh, NC, and does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
