In this role you will manage a structural inspection team to create a prioritised, risk‑based maintenance programme for highway structures under the responsibility of Staffordshire County Council, while collaborating with rail, national highway, canal, river and private developers to ensure technical compliance of third‑party structures. The position offers a clear pathway to senior, lead senior or principal bridge engineering roles for candidates with chartered or chartership‑in‑progress status and experience in bridge assessment, design and maintenance.
