We are seeking a senior compliance engineer to lead and support regulatory compliance for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI), radio‑frequency (RF) and product safety across our electronic products. The role works cross‑functionally with design, test and certification teams to ensure global regulatory requirements are met, and involves developing test plans, reviewing designs and guiding teams on best practices.
The engineer will also coordinate with third‑party labs such as UL and ETL, request quotes, manage certifications, create critical component lists and prepare test setups for EMC, EMI, RF and safety evaluations.
- Lead compliance efforts throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Develop and execute test plans for pre‑compliance and formal certification.
- Collaborate with external labs (e.g., UL, ETL) for quotes, certifications, and testing.
- Interpret and apply international standards (CISPR, EN, IEC, ANSI, ETSI, ISO).
- Review schematics, PCB layouts, and mechanical designs for compliance risks.
- Guide design teams on best practices for EMC, RF, and safety.
- Create critical component lists and setup instructions for testing.
- Maintain documentation for regulatory submissions and audits.
- Stay updated on global regulatory changes.
- Mentor junior engineers and support internal training.

- Knowledge of working with EMC software like BAT EMC.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in electronics design with exposure to compliance (EMC/EMI, RF, safety).
- Strong ability to interpret and apply regulatory standards and testing methodologies.
- Hands‑on experience with test equipment (spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, LISNs, etc.).
- Familiarity with wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, Zigbee) and related regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and project‑management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
