To inspect products either on completion of machining or as a pre-machining or in process check as specified in the manufacturing instruction. This may involve the use of conventional measurement techniques using gauges or instruments and templates.
To use the SFDC system to record both direct and indirect works in line with the Company’s procedures.
To undertake any other task within the machine shop workflow when management requires.
Identify and load the correct NC program and tooling for the parts to be machined.
Operate CNC milling machines.
Self-inspection of parts produced, resolving non - conformance issues.
To carry out required machine parameter changes associated with the set up.
To report possible or known errors in manufacturing instruction or other associated documentation to the Supervisor or Team leader
To test/dry run new or modified programs using appropriate machine functions and making required adjustments to machine and tool offsets to achieve the required size.

Use of Dial test indicator (DTI) clock for probing and setting up the job.
Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenheim, and siemens would be an advantage.
Ability to reading engineering drawings
Use of overhead cranes will be required. Crane training would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
Previous experience should include manufacturing industry, preferably in a medium to heavy environment.
Awareness of safety legislation and quality procedures (ISO 9001)
CNC milling experience.
Accurately follow route card instructions SOP and reading of engineering drawings.
