  • Lead and mentor team of Development Engineers and Designers
  • Developing site intake and evaluation checklists to facilitate site feasibility, risks and costs
  • Maintain quality and repeatability in analysis, reports, designs and engineering processes and deliverables
  • Evaluation and selection of equipment (modules, racking, inverters, batteries) to optimize energy vs cost
  • Sourcing, organizing and evaluating site diligence to develop accurate constraints, with a particular focus on environmental, AHJ setback, screening and stormwater requirements
  • Produce cost effective project plans, with an emphasis on constructability and long-term asset management
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including M&A, Development, Power Marketing, Procurement, Construction and Asset Management

  • Must be able to clearly communicate tasks and goals to team members and an ability to break down large tasks and initiatives into actionable tasks for specific team members to execute
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, independently and meet deadlines across multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • BS in applicable Engineering discipline for the industry is required. Advanced degree a plus if it applies to the subject matter. Professional certifications are highly desirable
  • Understand the use of software packages PVSyst, SAM, ETAP, LPile and similar
  • Shall have direct and demonstrable experience working for a Developer, EPC or IPP company and understand the specific and unique challenges of a business of our type within the industry
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, HydroCAD, PVCase (or equal), standard GIS tools, Microsoft Office Suite
  • 6+ years of industry experience in Utility scale sector of Renewables
  • Must be a task flexible, goal orientated, team contributor with proven communication and problem solving skillsets
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, with acute attention to detail and can complete assignments with minimal supervision
