You will work across all project execution environments including pre assembly, installation and commissioning, your responsibilities will include HV cable pulling, electrical fitting, terminations, testing, commissioning of associated HV equipment and energization of wind turbines.

Once fully trained as a High Voltage Technician for SGRE, you will be responsible for training, mentoring, and sharing knowledge with trainees and colleagues alike.

Desired but can be provided: Offshore Medical (Good level of fitness), relevant GWOs and HV-specific training (Switchgear, Transformer, Nexans, NKT)
Candidates must be “electrically skilled” and will have the appropriate electrical industry training and qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or higher, C&G 2357, Electro technikermeister or equivalent (in line with EN-50110-1).
You must have minimum 3 years electrical experience (with work references), preferably working with med-high voltage systems and procedures.
You have a high level of focus and attention to detail always, with the ability to consistently deliver the quality product that our customers rightly require.
You will be a strong communicator, with proven ability to successfully interact at different levels in a large organization and where necessary taking into account different cultures.
A minimum of 5 years relevant electrical/ offshore/ wind industry experience with employer references is highly desired.
A high level of health and safety focus with experience of working with safe systems of work. The ability to work as part of a team and/or on own initiative and have the ability and confidence to work at height.
