  • Work with the Director to determine strategy and plan for short, medium and long-term goals
  • Work across projects in both Queensland and Western Australia

  • Lead developing, implementing and reviewing of new transport planning business streams
  • Provide leadership and direction to staff and ensure the objectives, actions and focus of the Business unit is clearly communicated to staff
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the Business
  • When required, direct, manage or run major bids/opportunities

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Traffic Engineer or Senior Transport Planner to step into an Associate Director role and lead the development of a new Transport Advisory team in Queensland, leveraging your existing network of clients and contacts. You’ll be supported by our established and high-performing team in Perth, WA, as you take this next step in your career and shape your own future.

  • Ability to lead teams and manage team outputs
  • Knowledge of Quality & Safety and the importance of risk management
  • RPEQ is essential
  • Strong understanding of Traffic Engineering /Transport Planning and project management
  • Demonstrated skills in managing and leading teams, projects and people
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, mentoring and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop commercially viable short and long-range business goals
  • Ability to foster a culture which supports organisational policies and procedures
