Tasks

-Use industrystandard and proprietary software to analyse and design mechanical system components with precision. -Deliver mechanical engineering designs including drawings, calculations, reports, and specifications to support multidisciplinary projects. -Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure design compatibility and effective project coordination. -Prepare mechanical engineering documents by developing engineering specifications, plans and schedules. -Assist in selecting mechanical systems and materials, and contribute to the development of specifications and visual design formats.

What You Bring

-Strong technical expertise and ability to produce accurate design documentation. -Proven experience in time management and organisational skills including the ability to manage resources and delegate tasks effectively. -Professional Memberships -Minimum 3 years working experience in consulting field and/or recognised as a Mechanical Engineer in your current role. -In depth knowledge of the Water Corp design standards, previous project examples would be favourable -Experience working in the local Western Australia market would be an advantage -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering.
