  • Develop, organize, and conduct user group meetings as required for all phases of the project (Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Construction Administration and Procurement & Equipment Management).
  • Develop and update budgets for presentation to the client.
  • Manage the planning, delivery, phasing, installation, and operational verification of all medical equipment when contracted. Including storage and final installation of major medical equipment when contracted.
  • Is involved in visioning and preplanning with clients to develop budgets for future projects
  • Manage equipment budget for the project, review & track purchase orders and resolve issues pertaining to purchase orders.
  • Facilitate meetings with medical personnel to confirm appropriate placement and use of medical equipment for patient care.
  • Identify equipment and design conflicts during the design process to avoid costly construction delays.
  • Provide professional customer interface and client relations.
  • Plan equipment on a room by room level for each department, using proprietary software, ESP.
  • Work with architectural consultants and contractors to review drawings, identify and note design/equipment conflicts and work to reconcile drawings to functionality and provide equipment specifications.
  • Lead medical equipment inventories which requires knowledge of all medical equipment.
  • Plan existing client standards during the planning and specification of equipment.
  • Develop and communicate to project team the Medical Equipment Responsibilities Matrix.
  • Identify and evaluate equipment in place to determine potential reuse, identify obsolete, unneeded equipment as contracted.
  • Develop, issue and provide analysis on RFP’s as required by the client.
  • Responsible for providing project equipment lists within established standards and guidelines to the project team.
  • Interview and verify medical equipment requirements with the client and make recommendations for “best practices”
  • Obtain client approval and customer sign-off for selected medical equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for equipment installation and use.
  • Maintains client relationships
  • Participate in any move management projects as required
  • Review project drawings and coordinate equipment requirements on the plans. Ensure good communication between the project team, facility personnel, architects, and contractors.
  • Organize, supervise, and participate in vendor presentations, vendor site visits and pricing negotiations at the client’s request.
  • Manage procurement process and equipment coordination process when contracted.
  • Coordinate OAC meetings as required by the construction process and the contracted fee.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies and products.
  • Research, attend conferences and trade shows to stay current with new products and technology
  • Provide client with Close out package of all final reports and equipment documentation at project completion.
  • Responsible for establishing new client relationships
  • Conduct design team coordination meetings during all phases of the project.
  • Develop a procurement delivery strategy and ensure all team members adhere to the plan and schedule.
