The incumbent will develop and implement an account strategy aligned with Arcadis business goals, creating annual and multi‑year plans that translate strategy into concrete objectives, actions and outcomes. They will maintain deep knowledge of target clients and sector trends to identify emerging opportunities.
Responsibility includes driving growth in bookings, gross margin and collections, maintaining a client‑experience focus across all touchpoints, and expanding networks across Operations and Solutions to maximise impact. They will capture client data, manage pursuits, make bid/no‑bid decisions, and feed opportunities into the regional pipeline.
The role requires fostering a positive account‑team culture, collaborating with project and operations teams to achieve high performance, and building cross‑functional relationships to enable cross‑selling and talent retention. It also involves mentoring team members and promoting a collaborative working environment.
Thought leadership is expected through sharing insights on technology sector trends, working with global sales teams to shape client strategy, and supporting marketing campaigns and new business models. The position influences project delivery and commercial contracting strategy while owning growth for key clients.
Candidates must have a proven record of developing and executing sales strategies that profitably grow accounts, strong client‑focused relationship building, and senior‑level leadership experience in the technology sector. They should demonstrate an ambitious, entrepreneurial mindset, executive‑level relationship management, and excellent communication and mentoring skills.
