- Provide technical direction and support across the delivery lifecycle
- Conduct maintainability, human factors, and safety hazard reviews
- Preparing engineering specifications, reports, calculations, layouts, production drawings, and cost estimates
- Develop test procedures and support verification activities
- Diagnosing fleet-wide issues and driving technical solutions
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards
- Supporting production, maintenance, and commissioning teams with timely engineering advice
- Raise and approve Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Instructions (EIs)
- Developing reference designs and integration plans for new electrical systems
- Collaborate with planners, suppliers, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and schedule alignment
- Lead design and analysis of electrical components including auxiliaries, traction systems, and main power
