Senior Corporate Communication Executive

Description

The professional will work with the Corporate Marketing and Communications team, primarily the Manager – Corporate Communications, Manager, Head of Marketing & Communications and Senior Group Marketing & Communications Director, executing all business and department requirements in line with the overarching goals and objectives.

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Communication Executive who will be responsible for the execution of the internal and external communications strategy and initiatives, which measurably advance the positioning of Seddiqi Holding and its respective entities across relevant platforms and amongst our stakeholders. They are also an integral member of the ESG PMO as we work towards outlining our roadmap for Seddiqi Holding.

• In-house support for all Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons brands related PR requirements
• Support with research and press release drafting for all corporate requirements.
• Maintain corporate identity guidelines, TOV and adherence to brand image across all tasks
• Execution across key external communications initiatives/deliverables, driving reputation and building awareness for the organisation and its and respective BU’s
• Enable interdepartmental collaboration by facilitating communication and knowledge sharing among internal stakeholders on ESG initiatives.
• Execution and liaison for key internal communications projects– inclusive of internal stakeholder management and driving employee advocacy
• Assist line manager in developing and implementing communication strategies across all business units in Seddiqi Holding
• Lead on reporting for internal ESG project updates to all relevant stakeholders
• Establishing posting timelines and content guidelines
• Execute and maintain the internal communications calendar. This includes working with members of the Content, Creative, HR, IT and other
• Lead on reporting for Dubai Watch Week communications. This includes Horology Forum biannual events and ensuring internal and external reports are in order
• Continue to build and maintain media relations with local, regional, and international press
• Execute communications development activities involving approved spokespeople (internal/external opps)
• Assist with the development of internal corporate communications assets – includes but is not limited to memos, strategic email comms etc.
• Monitoring campaign performance and generating reports
• Serve as a key member of the ESG project management office, assisting with communication efforts and ensuring alignment with overall ESG goals.
• Manage external agency relationships, ensuring effective collaboration with ESG-focused agencies and partners.
• Sourcing and vetting potential influencers
• Execution lead on Seddiqi Holding and all respective business’ LinkedIn calendar – includes liaising with the respective team members in the organisation for information and assets
• Support line manager as the main POC for all external agencies we work with across SH, BUs, and brands in the Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons portfolio
• Support line manager with international press office requirements during Horology Forum international events. This includes but is not limited to press office coordination, logistics and reporting
• Lead POC for local press office during Horology Forum international events
• Lead on preparation of the corporate newsletter
• Support with drafting policies and guidelines for the business
• Review and revise specific communications assets pertaining to DWW and HF
• Analyse the success and/or effectiveness of communications campaigns
• Develop and implement a comprehensive influencer marketing strategy aligned with Marcomm and Brand Marketing objectives.
• Negotiating contracts and fees (paid collaborations only)
• Execute and maintain quarterly updates of the corporate communications toolkit for each entity across all platforms. This entails assisting with development of documents – including but not limited to FAQs, profiles, corporate presentations etc.
• Execute an effective PR calendar for the business alongside the corporate PR agency. This includes leading on all press office requests and asset creation
• Manage both organic and paid influencer collaborations, including:
• Support Corporate Communications/Marketing and the respective departments involved with ESG PMO requirements
• Develop reporting templates and implement BIC practice - this includes sharing monthly internal reports on progress/status updates with key internal stakeholders including other departments, HMC and SGMCD.
• Analyse global & local market trends and the changing consumer requirements to encourage innovation and progressive forms of communications tactics
• Update and maintain a press library of images, documents and historical milestones pertaining to the business
• Contribute to the development of an annual and/or long-term communications plan for Seddiqi Holding and its respective business units (internal and external)
• Outline and build key PR opportunities for the business
• Coordinating communication and logistics with influencers
• Provide operational support to line manager throughout project lifecycles, including budgeting, tracking and timeline management.
• The CE also focuses on developing deep expertise in a specific communication areas like influencer marketing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years job related experience and 2 to 3 years’ experience in PR, corporate communications, or brand communications across the luxury and/or retail sector.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communications and/or Marketing.
• Understanding of luxury watch and jewellery sector.
