The Front Desk Clerk ensures every guest interaction is positive and memorable, handling check‑ins, check‑outs and guest requests. You will manage reservation data, resolve availability issues, generate invoices, handle cash and credit transactions, maintain safety deposit boxes, and coordinate housekeeping and maintenance requests. The role also includes restocking the front desk, preparing arrival packets, providing information on local attractions, and preparing reports for management.
The ideal candidate is proficient in English, both spoken and written, and demonstrates a courteous, professional demeanor when addressing upset guests. Flexibility to cover shifts on short notice, strong multitasking and prioritization skills, and at least six months of customer‑service experience are required. Prior experience as a front‑desk or guest‑services agent, handling cash/credit transactions, or working in resort hospitality is preferred.
