The Assistant General Manager – Landscape Design is responsible for leading the landscape design function, managing design teams, coordinating with execution and business development teams, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, sustainable, and cost-effective landscape solutions. The role combines creative leadership, technical expertise, client engagement, and operational management.

Lead concept development, master planning, and detailed landscape design for residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects.
Support business development teams with design inputs, proposals, and tenders.
Review and approve design drawings, specifications, BOQs, and presentations.
Manage and mentor landscape architects, designers, and junior team members.
Coordinate closely with execution, irrigation, horticulture, and procurement teams for seamless project handover.
Assist in budgeting, cost optimization, and value engineering at the design stage.
Implement quality control processes and documentation standards.
Address client feedback and ensure timely design revisions and approvals.
Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and negotiations.
Contribute to departmental strategy, process improvements, and design standards.
Conduct periodic design reviews and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental norms, and project specifications.
Promote sustainable landscape practices including water management, native planting, and eco-friendly materials.
Ensure innovative, functional, and sustainable design solutions aligned with client requirements and brand standards.
Act as the primary design point of contact for key clients, consultants, and architects.
Stay updated with global landscape trends, materials, and sustainable practices.
Allocate projects, set timelines, and monitor deliverables to ensure adherence to quality, cost, and schedule.

Strong design sensibility, technical knowledge, and detailing skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong portfolio demonstrating large-scale and complex landscape projects.
