- Finite element analysis (Creo Simulate)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel for solving mathematical problems.
- A flexible approach, being able to work successfully in a small team to aggressive timescales.
- Additive manufacturing techniques.
- Experience of modern manufacturing methods.
- Knowledge of EMobility drivetrain systems and industry trends, gear technology and Design.
- A working knowledge of FEA techniques.
- Proven capability of detail design and component solid modelling with Creo or CAD (Catia or NX) systems in similar environment.
- A willingness to travel.
- Technical knowledge of automotive transmission systems.
- Hydraulic circuitry.
- Potential for extensive travel to support customer visits and meetings around the UK, Europe and, potentially, worldwide and the holder of a driving licence.
- Experience working in an Automotive or Motorsport environment and way of working to achieve customer requirements.
- Ability to understand, produce and check 2D technical drawings to a high standard with high GD&T competency.
- Degree (Bachelor or Masters) in Mechanical Engineering or similar field or with equivalent technical experience.
- Experience with PLM systems (Windchill preferred).
