The primary duty (about 80% of the time) is order picking: reviewing paper orders and RF‑Gen pick lists, operating a forklift to retrieve materials, and staging them for shipment while adhering to safety protocols. Housekeeping tasks (≈10%) involve keeping aisles and rack locations clear of debris and empty pallets. Forklift inspections are performed pre‑ and post‑shift, and an annual inventory audit is assisted with to count and log product quantities. The role also includes loading and unloading trucks, verifying received items, documenting discrepancies, and coordinating with procurement, accounts payable, customer service, and quality control on purchase orders and returns.
Successful candidates must be able to perform basic math for inventory counts, read and interpret order directions, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Safe operation of a forklift and an RF‑Gen gun is required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum educational credential.
