
Develops and manufactures insulation, roofing, and fiberglass composite building materials.
Performs the role of providing support to packaging and production operations by executing processes such as procuring and placing bags on packaging equipment, hauling scrap, salvaging insulation for reconditioning, transporting direct materials, cleaning designated equipment and areas, loading material onto ware‑trucks, and operating designated vehicles. Sets up, operates, monitors, adjusts, troubleshoots, and maintains equipment related to these processes while measuring, monitoring, and maintaining quality standards.
Visually inspects, selects, packages, and labels products according to specifications, and positions and loads ware‑trucks, racks, and strings manually or with material‑handling equipment. Sets up, operates, adjusts, and inspects semi‑automatic and automatic packaging equipment—including stretch wrappers, baggers, printers, autobaggers, unitizers, and conveying systems—using schedule information from SAP. Performs packaging operations such as palletizing, closing bags, and wrapping bundles; disposes of off‑quality material; reprocesses non‑conforming goods; operates reconditioning machines to salvage off‑ware; locates and retrieves direct materials; takes inventory; assists Level 2 packers and group leaders; operates walking material‑handling equipment; reports equipment or quality problems; assists in oven cleanouts and downtimes; completes records and reports; and applies protective coatings to equipment and floors.
The position requires exposure to temperature extremes and noise, prolonged standing or sitting for 8‑hour (or rotating) shifts, repetitive motions, lifting or moving up to 50 lb, and the use of respirator protection. Employees must maintain regular attendance, work varying or rotating shifts, and participate in safety and housekeeping programs.
