Operate both stationary or traveling cranes to position, move, and lift loads such as bulk materials, products, equipment, and machinery.
Assist in the make ready process for the job task, frame poles on the ground, dig pole holes, set poles or pull wire.
Be in close proximity of work area to anticipate the needs of the crew, prepare tools and operate equipment for crew members for the particular work being performed.
Hoisting attachments such as buckets, hooks, and slings will be used.
Assist in performing maintenance as needed.
Handle physically demanding construction duties in harsh weather conditions.
Keep work areas clean and organized. Pick up scrap wire, discarded materials, etc.
Assist with cleaning protective equipment (hot sticks and rubber goods) and keep PPE in good condition.
Safely drive and operate company vehicles, digger derrick, backhoes, boom and pole trucks, fork lift, and safely operate power tools.
