The team will leverage expertise in GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR, DoD financial management policies, and organizational structures to deliver financial audit statements, audit‑readiness services, and compliance guidance within ERP systems, while also applying OMB policies and understanding DoD acquisition, inventory, property, and material management.
Guidehouse is seeking financial management professionals to support its Department of Defense client, with up to 10% travel and the requirement to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Secret clearance (active clearance preferred), hold a bachelor’s degree or have four years of relevant experience, and possess at least two years of experience supporting a DoD Financial Improvement & Audit Remediation (FIAR) project, covering accounting, audit, budgeting, finance, and internal controls. This role requires in‑person work.
Preferred qualifications include an active Secret clearance, an advanced degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or business administration, and certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, PMP, CGFM, CDFM, SAFe, or ITIL, as well as federal financial management experience with the Air Force, Army, or Navy.
