- Develop and manage complex grid and generator performance models to meet Generator Performance Standards for new energy projects.
- Conduct detailed analysis of current and future grid configurations to identify optimal connection points.
- Support project development and acquisition due diligence by assessing connection risks and opportunities
- Provide expert advice and approvals on grid connection strategies and future grid options.
- Select and oversee specialist consultants for grid modelling, including GPS packages, MLF assessments, and constraints analysis.
- Power the grid - Connect renewables with smart, scalable solutions.
- Model the future - Use PSCAD, PSS(R)E, and PowerFactory to solve grid challenges.
- Lead technical negotiations and maintain strong relationships with AEMO, TNSPs, DNSPs, and state-based authorities.

- Proficiency in industry-standard software tools such as PSCAD, PSS®E, DigSILENT PowerFactory, and other grid simulation and modelling platforms.
- Strong understanding of AEMO’s Integrated System Plan and future grid technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical consultants and deliver high-impact modelling outcomes.
- Engineering degree with extensive relevant experience in the Australian energy market.
- Proven expertise in grid connection processes and regulatory frameworks within the National Electricity Market.
