Product and Solution Development: Support others by carrying out simple product development or engineering tasks, such as gathering data or preparing documents. Involves following established procedures.
Operational Compliance: Applies technical manuals to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable standards and codes such as CSA, and MTO Standard Details.
Team: Working as part of a team, and providing project design leadership, including mentorship and guidance to Intermediate and Junior staff.
Design and Conceptualization: Taking engineering notes, specifications, rough sketches, etc, and formalizing them into working drawings. In this role you will develop working drawings from equipment specifications, engineering notes, sketches, and detailed drawings, ensuring that they meet company and industry standards and codes.

Experience in bridge rehabilitation techniques and methodologies;
Diploma in Structural Technology or related field from an accredited institution.
Design Delivery: Experience in design delivery within conventional and design-build project models is considered an asset.
Ability to work independently and to provide direction to other members of a Project Team;
Applications and Software: Exposure or desire to learn using visualization software platforms (Infraworks, etc.) and design programming (Dynamo, etc.) are considered assets but not required.
The ability to work in large multi-discipline teams and collaborate across regions.
Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license
Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley, and ProjectWise
15+ years' experience in relevant design experience for bridges and related steel/concrete structure's experience.
Skilled in Microstation (Asset)
