Collaborate with a national team of technical experts in the Electrical and I&C group.
Communicate and interface with clients.
Support business opportunities and assist in sales and marketing efforts (proposal preparation, interviewing, scope, fee, etc.).
Serve as a project task manager, or perform as lead discipline (electrical and I&C) engineer and Electrical Engineer-of-record on projects as appropriate.
Successfully manage and execute electrical designs to be on time and on budget using company systems and tools.
Producing effective and accurate written documents, reports, and technical memorandums.
Scope and budget projects, identify method of project execution, and coordinate staff assignments.
Mentor other electrical and I&C engineers and designers.
Collaborate with other technical teams for design coordination.
Perform contractor construction submittal reviews and request for information documents and general electrical design activities for water and wastewater treatment plant and pump station power systems. Field and site investigation of project work as required.

BS in Electrical Engineering.
Professional registration or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
12-15+ years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer working for government, municipal, and/or industrial water and wastewater industries.
Power system software design/modelling experience (SKM, ETAP, EasyPower).
Minimum 10 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer working for government, municipal, and/or industrial water and wastewater industries.
Supervisory and mentoring experience with electrical staff.
Candidate should be a self-starter, results-oriented, be able to multi-task, and work under tight and pressured deadlines.
Solid knowledge in the application of the National Electrical Code.
Solid knowledge and understanding of electrical safety systems, NFPA 70E.
Experience with renewable and alternative energy design a plus (solar, wind, cogeneration).
Experience in industrial power systems design (medium and low voltage systems), service entrance, feeder and branch circuits, lighting, emergency power and power generation and distribution equipment, power systems studies.
