  • Conduct testing and commissioning of systems, either routinely or following maintenance work, to ensure full functionality and compliance.
  • Carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical and hydraulic components and systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of system performance, defects, completed maintenance, and resource usage.
  • Adhere to all company procedures and marine safety regulations to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of workboat vessels.
  • Operate as part of a small, close-knit crew, working alongside engineering trades and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective delivery of maintenance and repair tasks.

  • Able to diagnose faults, identify practical solutions, and adapt quickly to varying systems and operational conditions.
  • Willing and able to work across a variety of vessels, schedules, and projects, often in dynamic or challenging environments.
  • Holds an EOOW Certificate of Competency (or equivalent) and has hands-on experience operating vessels with mechanical and hydraulic systems.
