  • Support accounts receivable processes including invoicing, payment posting, and follow-ups.
  • Assist with accounts payable: vendor data entry, invoice processing, statement reconciliation, and timely payment coordination.
  • Maintain digital and physical documentation through scanning, filing, and organization.
  • Prepare reconciliations and schedules for month-end closing.
  • Record and process deposits, cash receipts, vendor invoices, and expenses accurately.
  • Uphold EDR’s policies, mission, and service-first culture.
  • Collaborate with project managers on budget and coding updates.
  • Support cash forecasting and ensure vendor payments align with state and local tax requirements.

EDR is seeking a dependable Accounts Payable / Receivable Clerk to support our Finance Team and the broader firm. You’ll manage daily cash handling, process vendor invoices, reconcile accounts, and assist with AR tasks—ensuring accurate and timely financial workflows within our dynamic, collaborative environment. The APR Clerk will have at least 2 years of related experience and the ability to work in our Rochester, NY office.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. No sponsorship is available for this position.

  • Contribute as a reliable, punctual, and communicative team member.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, aligned with EDR’s collaborative values.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task under deadlines.
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred; equivalent experience with minimum 2 years of AP/AR processing considered.
  • Initiative-driven with problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in data entry, accounting software, and especially Excel. Experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint a plus.
  • Strong grasp of debits and credits, with a solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
Benefits

The anticipated base pay range of $45,000-$55,000 per year is commensurate with experience. EDR reserves the right to pay outside of the target range based on an individual’s education, credentials, skill level and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity, geographic location, and business needs.
