Build a portfolio of clients by winning new clients and obtaining repeat business from existing clients, leading proposal preparation, and executing a personal business development plan;
Mentor, guide, and motivate early career staff assigned in the areas of project performance, cost, schedule management, client expectations and career development; work with employees to correct deficiencies;
Implement remedial pilot tests and systems, including vendor selection, logistical coordination, permitting, and supervision of field teams;
Write technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals; oversee and review documents prepared by project teams;
Lead the development of work plans, data evaluation, and cost-benefit analyses;
Foster trust-based relationships with clients, regulatory personnel, and other project stakeholders;
Field work and overnight travel may be required.
At times, this position may also include fieldwork including site visits, multi-media environmental sampling and characterization, drilling oversight, contractor oversight, and remediation system operations, maintenance, and construction.
Managing challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management;
Evaluate contaminated sites and develop remediation approaches, including feasibility studies, removal action work plans, remediation design plans;

At least 8 years (10+ years preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience in the Pacific Northwest marketplace ; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred)
Professional registration (i.e., P.E. P.G.) (preferred)
Detailed understanding of CERCLA and other applicable state regulations. (required)
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)
Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred) or geology. (required)
Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients, and leadership skills. (required)
