A global leader in power management, providing energy-efficient solutions for various industries.
In this role you will support customers across the power‑system lifecycle, including startup, commissioning, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergencies. You will manage small projects independently and lead FSR teams on larger initiatives. Timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties are required, as are recommendations for improved electrical systems. Building strong relationships with customers, team members, and partners is essential, and you will utilize digital tools such as laptops, iPads, IR cameras, Google Glasses, and MS Teams for remote work.
A high school diploma or higher plus a minimum of three years’ experience testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems is required. Candidates without a diploma may qualify with an accredited trade‑school program and seven or more years of relevant experience. An associate degree or higher from an accredited institution is preferred, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering is also acceptable. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship.
The position requires the ability to work variable hours, including nights and weekends, and to travel within the district, state, region, or country as customer needs dictate. Understanding of three‑phase power systems and low, medium, and high‑voltage distribution equipment is essential. Physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and regularly lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier loads requiring assistance. A valid TWIC card and proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment assembly are also required.
Additional experience with power‑quality measurements, troubleshooting, analysis, and protective relays is highly valued. Candidates possessing these skills will have a competitive advantage.
