

Ledcor is a construction and resource development company delivering projects across North America.
Team members are responsible for winter and seasonal maintenance of Alberta provincial highways, operating snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment, while also performing labour‑related tasks such as crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, and hazard remediation.
The role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, with some shift, on‑call, and night‑shift duties as weather patterns dictate.
Applicants must successfully complete pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing, be physically able to lift up to 50 lb, hold a valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence with air endorsement, have a clear three‑year driver’s abstract, and preferably have prior experience operating a snowplow truck or wheel loader.

Compensation includes a base hourly rate of $26.50 to $31.00, plus premiums of $8 / hour for winter maintenance and $14 / hour for Class 1 operators handling tow‑plow units, with CLAC union coverage, winter accommodations in Edson, and a comprehensive health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and retirement package.
