Safety is the priority. You will be required to recognize and respond to dangerous situations quickly and safely. Required to lead by example, follow all HSE rules and requirements and always wear required PPE. Working in the Coating Department, an employee will be required to wear a paint respirator to ensure safety and protect against exposure to harmful fumes and chemicals associated with the coating process.

Basic computer knowledge.
Forklift experience required.
Proven experience as a Coating Operator or in a similar role in manufacturing, preferred.
Mathematical Reasoning: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
Ability to work in hot environments for long periods of time.
Safety: Ability to prioritize safety by demonstrating safe work practices and promoting a safe work environment.
One week, C Shift works the days that D Shift has off, and vice versa.
Teamwork: Ability to work with other team members to accomplish group goals
Attendance: Able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance in accordance with our attendance policy.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must understand atmosphere curing furnace fundamentals and operation.
Familiarity with Industrial machinery and chemical handling, preferred.

Familiar with performing curing furnace preventative maintenance preferred.
Reading Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to Work Independently: Follow both written and oral instructions, including safety guidelines, work instructions, and company policies.
Quality Standards Knowledge: Demonstrate an understanding of company quality standards, attention to detail and company quality control processes.
Familiar with pre and post process testing such as titrations preferred.
Customer Service Skills: Apply customer service principles and processes on the job and with others.
Problem Solving: Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists
Results Focus & Initiative: Ability to multitask and take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Speak in the most effective way to relay information to all departments and at all levels within the organization. Listen and ask questions to ensure understanding.
