The Principal Process Engineer role is located in Melbourne within the Integrated Water Planning team, providing technical expertise and leadership on water and wastewater treatment plant projects. Responsibilities include master planning, feasibility studies, business case preparation and supporting business development.
- Lead technical direction on complex water, wastewater and recycled water projects from strategic planning to functional design.
- Supervise and coordinate project teams to achieve objectives and client expectations.
- Prepare proposals and leverage existing relationships for new opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted water infrastructure advisor.
- Facilitate client and stakeholder workshops.
- Mentor junior staff technically.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring scope, schedule and quality are met.

- Hold a Chemical Engineering degree with 10+ years consultancy experience in water treatment.
- Possess Chartered status (CPEng, RPEQ/V) and active involvement in industry associations.
- Demonstrate expertise in chemical engineering design and strategic planning of water and wastewater treatment.
- Exhibit strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills and a supportive attitude to mentoring.
