Description

The Assembler I is responsible for assembling components and sub‑assemblies across multiple workstations to produce the final product. Duties include positioning and fastening parts, routing harnesses, operating manipulators, performing functional testing, and supporting validation checks while maintaining quality standards and a clean, safe work environment.

• Assemble sub‑assemblies, torque fasteners, and install components such as wires, hoses, panels, doors, handles, and underbodies.
• Route harnesses, operate manipulators, and follow standard work instructions.
• Perform functional testing, validate checks, and report defects for corrective action.
• Maintain workplace organization (5S), safety compliance, and a clean work environment.
• Apply basic computer, math, and reading skills while multitasking in a changing environment.

Requirements

The role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and occasional climbing, lifting up to 35 lb, as well as occasional analysis, communication, and problem‑solving tasks. Work is performed in a fast‑paced environment with occasional shifts in task priority, exposure to dust, temperature extremes, and loud noises.

• Communicate clearly with leadership and team members both verbally and in writing.
• Meet minimum qualification of a high school diploma/GED; six months automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
• Pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and possess basic assembly skills.
• Demonstrate accountability, attention to detail, teamwork, flexibility, initiative, and a quality‑focused mindset.
