Microbiology Analyst

Description

The Microbiology Analyst will process water samples, read results accurately, and support the day‑to‑day management of the laboratory, ensuring high‑quality work is delivered within agreed timeframes.

• Receive and process customer water samples promptly.
• Follow documented laboratory procedures, record sample data, update LIMS, and keep paperwork orderly.
• Maintain quality records and ensure compliance with UKAS accreditation standards.
• Keep the laboratory clean and maintain equipment in good condition.

Requirements

The role requires strong communication skills for dealing with customers, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and a meticulous eye for detail and understanding of business processes.
