You will lead cost management throughout the project lifecycle—from feasibility and business case development through to procurement, tender documentation, value engineering, risk management and final account agreement. The position also requires maintaining and enhancing client relationships, promoting AECOM’s professional services, and mentoring junior staff on technically complex projects. Additionally, you will identify marketing opportunities and collaborate with the Business Development team to generate new work.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying and is chartered with RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or an equivalent body. You must have a strong track record in cost management or quantity surveying on large infrastructure projects, solid knowledge of NEC4 contracts (PSC and ECC), and experience working in integrated, multi‑organisation teams or directly with clients. Strong stakeholder‑management and the ability to influence key client contacts are essential.
