Consulting Associate, Scientist or Engineer

Description

• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, regulatory agencies, clients, and stakeholders during field activities.
• Support environmental assessment, compliance, and remediation projects that make a tangible difference.
• Maintain quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
• Support remediation system design and installation.
• Assist in preparing regulatory reports and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Perform groundwater sampling and monitoring.
• Collaborate with ERM’s technical experts to implement advanced engineering and remediation technologies.
• Compile and analyze environmental data (soil, groundwater, air, sediment) and create clear, insightful figures.
• Conduct fieldwork: sampling, drilling, well installation, remedial pilot tests, construction oversight, and system operation/maintenance.
• Assist with Phase I and II environmental site assessments for property transactions.

Requirements

• Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
• Ability to conduct field work assignments.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, maintain flexibility and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
• 0+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or engineering.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform fieldwork.
• 2+ years of experience of relevant experience.
